Wellness Retreats with Salma and Shona

Longtime friends Salma and Shona co-founded Soulera Retreats in 2023. With over 5 successful retreats in various locations, including the UK, Portugal, and Morocco, they are super excited for their upcoming retreat in Cairo in 2026. Salma was born in Cairo and has strong roots to the city with family living there, so she cannot wait to bring her community to her birth country. The retreat will take place in Ardi Dahshur, an hour away from Cairo. It is one of the obly retreat spaces in Cairo and is a stone's throw away from the Dahshur pyramids.

Included in this retreat is all locally sourced food, cooked by the most wonderful inhouse cheds at Ardi, accommodation (various types included) and excursions including a visit to the Pyramids of Giza and the brand new Museum of Cairo. We also have a visit planned to Salma's family home for a home-cooked meal by her glorious mother, Hanaa.

A sample schedule looks as follows:

7:30 am - Meditation

7:45 am - Yoga class (vinyasa or hatha)

9 am - Breakfast

10 - 12 pm - free time by the pool

12 pm - Pilates / Sculpt / Barre class

1 pm - lunch

2 - 5 pm - excursion 

5 pm - Yin / Restorative Yoga / Sound Healing / Journaling 

6:30 pm - Dinner and hang outs
